The Sony ps3 will be the most powerful game console ever released. The impressive parallel processing architecture and powerful GPU allows for arguably the most ambitious releases on a console ever. Certainly, the graphics and performance the system will deliver will outstrip that of its more prudent competitors, xbox 360, and Nintendo's Wii. It should come as no surprise then, that many of the most anticipated titles of 2007 will launch on the ps3, some on multiple platforms, others exclusively. As impressive as the hardware is, it's really not important in the scheme of things; what really matters is what games you can actually play!
The ps3 is costly enough as it is, and as with anything else you invest in, you wouldn't want to do it before reading up on it first. What better way to do that, than to check out some ps3 game previews? Generally speaking, the best sources of ps3 previews will come from those websites and magazines that have generally covered ps2 and the original PS from the outset. General gaming sites like Gamespy/IGN, Gamespot, 1up, and GamesIndustry.biz are generally good sources of quick, easy to read news, game previews, and reviews. The quality varies, but what is common to each of these is that they will compare their subject matter to the competition. In this case, exclusive ps3 titles would be compared against games on xbox 360 and Wii in any ps3 game review.
If you're already a fan, and you're set on having a ps3, you might prefer ps3 reviews from sites that deal with nothing else. Dedicated community fansites tend to have active discussion forms full of analysis of every last detail. More to the point, the staff who run such sites are generally fans themselves, and are just as interested in the system and games they post about, which is usually reflected in their reporting. Also keep in mind that the ps3 is going to be widely backwards compatible with older PS and ps2 games, which you'll be able to buy from Son'y PNP service, if you don't already have them one of the major selling points! For your ps3, game reviews already written will be just as useful. Finally, going back even further, Sony has announced that a wide variety of Sega Genesis (MegaDrive) games will be also be compatible with the ps3, opening up yet more games to its repertoire.

"How to play online poker on a Mac?" This is a question that I have been asked a few times, and here we're not talking about the few online poker rooms that provide a download able Mac version of their software. No, here we're talking about those online poker rooms that don't offer any kind of Mac possibilities (no install able application, no browser version, etc.), thus leaving all the Mac poker enthusiast out!!!
I myself am a Mac user, because it has simply the best and very user friendly operating system. Though, I also own a Windows computer, since I can't live without one for several reasons. My Mac is a Power book G4 and is about 2 years old. This means it doesn't have the Intel processor that current Mac Pro's have. not having an Intel processor is a huge disadvantage if you're looking in ways to run a stable version of Windows. I basically spent hours trying to get everything to work, just to be able to play online poker on my Mac. Sure, these hours may be less if you have experience, but I did not (just like many others out there).
This article will be divided in two sub articles from here. You may be interested in reading both, but most probably you will just read the article that fits your Mac.
First Sub: MAC WITHOUT INTEL
OK, so this is the situation I am in. I love to play online poker, but I hate to be sitting upstairs all the time. Besides me, my girlfriend hates it as well and she has told me that several times! I have a wireless network installed, so I can use my laptop anywhere in the house. At first I was playing online poker at rooms with the ability to play on a Mac. Unfortunately these rooms are not my favourite. Don't get me wrong, there are seriously some great online poker rooms available for the Mac. It's more like a personal thing.
Well, because I really wanted to play at this particular online poker room, I have Googled for a solution and found several options.
I found out later that the easiest way to run Windows on a Mac is by installing Virtual PC 7. It creates a Windows machine on your Mac. It's also not so expensive, since you can choose form several versions: XP Pro, XP Home, Win 2K Pro, and a standalone version for people who own a copy of Windows. The retail prizes range between $129 for the standalone, up to $249 for the Pro versions.
Let's me start by telling you this: "If you can afford it, this is what you want!" Virtual PC 7 makes it possible to run PC programs and peripherals right from your Mac, but even better is that Virtual PC 7 runs in a window when using your Mac operating system! It brings a lot of advantages to your Mac, which might not all be related to this article since we're specifically talking about "how to play online poker on a Mac". There's a pretty good demo that covers a lot of options (shared clipboard, shared folders, full screen mode, and lot's more) on the Virtual PC website.

Before I found out about Virtual PC 7, I found with the following solution to my problem, since I was looking for a way to be able to participate in a poker freeroll for frequent players. It's definitely just as good as the solution previously mentioned, and best of all it's free! Though, you should be aware of the fact that it requires a PC on a network having a Windows Pro version installed on it.
Microsoft offers a free "Remote Desktop" client application for the Mac. Installing this on your Mac enables you to work on your Mac and your Windows-based computer from a single location. You have to make sure that your PC has "Remote Desktop" installed, which can be done by following these steps:
- Click Start, and then click control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove programs.
- Click Add/Remove Windows Components.
- Click Internet Information Services, and then click Details.
- Click World Wide Web Service, and then click Details.
- Select the Remote Desktop Web Connection check box, and then click OK.
- Click OK on the Internet Information Services screen.
- Click next on the Windows Components Wizard screen.
next you have to make sure that "Remote Desktop" is enabled, which can be done by following these steps:
- Right-click the My Computer icon on the desktop, and then click Properties.
- Click the Remote tab.
- Make sure that the Allow users to connect remotely to this computer check box is selected, and then click OK.
You also need to know the IP address of the Windows-based PC, which can be done by following these steps:
- Click Start, click run, and then type cmd.
- At the command prompt, type ipconfig.
- Write down the IP address on a piece of paper.
You can now try to connect to your Windows-based computer using the Remote Desktop Client on your Mac by connecting to its' IP address.
- On your Mac, open Remote Desktop Connection.
- In Computer, type the IP address.
- Click Connect.
You are now able to remotely login to your Windows-based machine. I hope this solution helps you just like it did me, have fin playing online poker on your Mac!

Second Sub: MAC WITH INTEL
I have to admit that I personally have no experience with what I am writing here. I have Googled for this information, and I believe that it covers all there is to know in a nut shell.
Owners of a Mac Pro containing an Intel processor are the ones who can choose from several products to run Windows.
First of all there is Apple's Boot Camp. It is free, and easy to install. Boot Camp enables Mac users to run a copy of Windows natively, just like a PC. The only thing you need to do is pressing the Alt-key at start up.
Advantage: Use your Mac as a Windows machine. Disadvantage: You can't switch between the two operating systems simultaneously.

Second there are several other products similar to Apple's Boot Camp. Applications like Parallels are even better since they can run OSX and Windows at the same time. When the energetic body is functioning poorly we may work to heal it; one of the most fundamental parts of the work we must do to heal our energetic bodies is to cleanse our chakras of stagnant energy.
Clearing our chakras has immense benefit. Our natural energy flow can be bogged down by so many different things. Anything which creates stress impedes the health of our energetic body, that part of us which is healed by practices like Reiki, yoga or acupuncture. When the energetic body is healthy our minds work better, our emotions are healthier, and our physical bodies become healthier as well.
Our energetic bodies respond to our thoughts. This is why when we are conflicted or angry or depressed our energetic bodies become damaged and then function poorly. This is also why simple meditation or prayer can be so effective at restoring us to a state of wellbeing in body mind and spirit. Once we see that this is true we may begin to recognize when thoughts of this nature arise in our minds and begin to interrupt them, to stop thinking them. The more we practice not thinking these consuming thoughts the more we free our minds to think in healthier ways and the closer we become to realizing true internal peace.
In that peaceful state we can focus our thoughts more clearly on those things which really matter most to us, like our health. We can take control of our wellbeing and direct ourselves to become healthier, happier and more content. This works because everything that is manifest in the physical plane of this world begins as a thought form in our energetic bodies. By cleansing and healing our energetic bodies we create an effective thought form or mental template for our state of being which is healthier, happier and more fulfilling.
This template then manifests in the physical world by making our bodies healthier and bringing us new opportunities to enhance our lives and the lives of those we love. In this manner, the simple quiet practices of prayer or meditation become transformational tools with which we can effectively change our lives and make the world around us a happier, healthier more abundant place for all of us to share.
To help with the visualization work related to cleansing my chakras I decided to write a song. song is one of the most powerful tools in my life. The music is borrowed from the Popcorn part of the soundtrack from the movie A Clockwork Orange. I chose this music because it is so happy, light and energizing. Please note that your visualization of the chakras may take some time, many years for me, but I have now given you the key that turned the trick with me. Dont worry about where you visualize these at first, it can be easier to visualize them in front of your minds eye and then later transfer them to their respective places within your energetic body.

Your visualizations need not be complex at first and may begin with the individual chakra colors which you may then try to shape into balls of light. As you get better at visualizing balls of color for the chakras start to visualize the petals of each chakra as they appear on the surface pointing inward. Then visualize the petals unfolding outward from the center to form flower shapes. As the flower shapes appear visualize the petals stretching out into cords of energy that radiate outward like stars. Later as you visualize all the chakras radiating watch as the rays of the brow chakra descend through all the chakras in a weaving pattern like a caduceus. The rays of the other chakras will mingle with one another filling out your energetic body.
Today my energetic body resembled a tree covered in vines with all the chakras within it glowing and radiating and merging their energies into all the subtle leaves (organs or nodes) of my energetic body.
